Help keep MyChoreBoard free for families

MyChoreBoard began as a practical solution to a common family problem: too many repeated reminders and no simple, flexible place for children to see what comes next. It has grown into a free chore and rewards app used by families around the world.

Free for families. Supported by families.

Contributions are completely optional. They help support the services, testing, development, and free resources behind MyChoreBoard while allowing the app to remain accessible to every family that finds it useful.

Support does not unlock special app features, and it is not required to use MyChoreBoard.

What optional support helps make possible

MyChoreBoard is actively developed and used across the web, iPhone, iPad, Android, and shared family devices. Even a simple app has real costs when it is serving real families every day.

Keeping MyChoreBoard dependable

Hosting, database usage, email delivery, and the other services that keep families synced across devices all have ongoing costs.

Building thoughtful improvements

Support creates more room for development, testing, accessibility work, bug fixes, and the small details that make the app easier for real families.

Supporting more devices

Maintaining the web app, iPhone and iPad app, Android app, and shared household displays requires testing across a wide range of devices.

Creating free family resources

The MyChoreBoard blog provides practical guidance on routines, rewards, responsibility, ADHD-friendly systems, and age-appropriate chores.

Built for real family life

A practical project that grew with its community

MyChoreBoard was created after seeing the same problem repeat across traditional chore charts and many digital alternatives: systems were difficult to maintain, easy to ignore, or more complicated than the routines they were meant to support. The goal was a calmer tool that keeps responsibilities clear without turning chores into a game.

Parent feedback has shaped the app from the beginning. Families have helped identify bugs, improve the interface, and inspire features for different ages, learning styles, schedules, devices, and household arrangements.

Community milestone

Growing with its community

  • Available on the web, Apple App Store, and Google Play.
  • Used by families in more than 100 countries by May 2026.
  • More than 300,000 chores completed by children by May 2026.

Other meaningful ways to help

Financial support is only one option. Reviews, recommendations, and thoughtful feedback can be just as valuable.

Leave an App Store review

A thoughtful review helps other iPhone and iPad families find MyChoreBoard.

Leave a Google Play review

Android reviews improve trust and help MyChoreBoard reach more families.

Share it with another family

A personal recommendation is one of the most meaningful ways to help the community grow.

Send feedback

Many of the best improvements started with a parent explaining what would help at home.

Our commitment

Keep the app useful, accessible, and focused

MyChoreBoard is designed to remain a practical tool for families rather than a platform built around ads, locked features, or unnecessary complexity. Optional support helps make continued development possible while keeping the same core experience available to everyone.

There is never any pressure to contribute. Using the app, sharing it with another family, reporting a problem, leaving a review, or suggesting an improvement all help MyChoreBoard grow. Financial support is simply another way for families who find value in the project to help sustain it.

Help support the next improvement

Every contribution is optional and appreciated. MyChoreBoard remains free to use whether or not your family chooses to support it.
